Isla Lynne Carter, our precious little girl...
Born on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 10:46 PM. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She looks a lot like her older brother did when he was first born, just "more petite and feminine" as daddy says!

Congratulations Liz and Al! She is beautiful - and I LOVE her name!!! Such a beautiful name for a beautiful baby. I am here with the Cuarentas eating up her brown babies. They are soooooo cute!!!! It has been nice to reconnect with part of my Colombian family!

This is only the thousandth time I have looked at the pictures, but the first time I have had time to comment. What a cutie! Just like her brother but more feminine! Soooo tiny and sweet and wonderful! Enjoy this time with her... it is over far too soon.
